There was a partial solar eclipse across New Zealand yesterday (whereas a bunch of the Northern Hemisphere had a lunar eclipse). Nobody bothered telling me about it until is was 66% over.

And you should pay attention to those pictures. There won’t be another solar eclipse in New Zealand until 2012.
